I think this might be abit too slow but here’s the latest by MJ – Dr. Q Groovee. It’s up there with my Chanel bowling, Chanel flap and err, Balenciagas. Haha!
But it’s not just the bowling bag…
This tote version looks yummy (and sturdy) enough to bring to sch!
And if you like things small and cutesy, this Dr. Q. Baby Boxy will do! It’s a tad too small and the colour doesn’t quite do for me.
Oh well, I still love the Dr. Q Groovee range. I don’t know, I think the mildy distressed leather works for me. 🙂
Since graduating from her whimsical Lizzie McGuire outfits, Hilary has stuck mostly to skinny jeans, heels and mini dresses. With her new bod, they seem to work well.
A dinner outfit. Long black tunic, skinnies and cream peeptoe heels. The bold black necklace is cute, although I’m not a fan of bold accessories. She could have done without the zebra hat, though.
A running errand outfit. We can’t copy the many layers of jackets and scarves here but we can always make do with the yellow flats and skinnies look!
At a Jay Leno show, Hilary looked resplendent in her sheer makeup. I just love her hair and makeup. She rarely goes anywhere without the huge hoops and black necklaces, ya?
Ahh, the long tank and black skinnies combo. She wears white heels damn well. I love the accessories on her.
I told you she’s not all about her skinnies. In girly nights, she rocks her legs in mini dresses like this multicoloured frock. Note the silver heels, the gold bangles and gold hoops.
And then she decides to go all summery in this adorable yellow mini dress. Her hair’s all neat in that grey headwrap. Very cute.
But we know Hilary’s a bag addict like so many of us women. Here’s a huge Fendi handcarry/tote/luggage?
And I dug up this old pic of her carrying the LV Mizi Vienna. It reminds me of Chanel bags. Oh lookie, how does she walk in those Louboutin pumps??
SW has lay very low in the online shopping radar lately. On the other hand, I haven’t learn my lesson. Still.
Yes, despite a minor glitch where an organiser delayed my refund for almost two months, I’m still fervently clicking the mouse (ok liar, I hate using the mouse for my laptop) and pushing the buttons to spend away what very little dollars I have left.
The stuffs that came were worth the wait, really.
Forever 21 tunic top. I got it in white.
Oh pls ignore the messed-up model. Just concentrate on the lovely mustard tote. It’s so roomy and the fleather (fake leather) is soft and lovely.
It finally came, lah! Very lovely shade of blue. The picture didn’t lie.
This, however, was a disappointment. This lovely knitted top from Asos was too huge on me. Any takers? It’s a UK 10 and is still brand new.
And then I ordered some more. I hope they’re in stock and wont get lost in the mail.
Aeropostale tunic top. It was on sale! How not to resist? Besides, I’ve always wanted a banded bottom top.
A casual black dress from Forever 21. I can’t wait for this item the most! Think my silver Topshop gladiator sandals and bangles. Haha. And a huge bag.
Cute babydoll top from Kimchi&Blue at Urban Outfitters. I’ve never had something so yellow before so I hope this’ll be ok!
And finally, a fitted shirt in white from Wetseal. Smart casual with jeans and flip flops.
And finally, a mod Threadless tee. I love how the umbrellas are like sheltering the ahem, chest part. :p
Okay, yes, that’s all. Damage done and cannot be reversed (unless of course, item gets outta stock and I get my refund. But who wants refunds when you can get the item, right?)
What have you bought lately?
The classic Chanel flap bag.
MK (or is it Ashley? Oh, it’s either one of the Olsens) carrying a vintage-looking Chanel shopping tote.
I *love* this vintage Chanel. The chain straps. The hobo shape. And *subtle* show-off logo there. Perfect.
The uber famous quilted tote with the dangling Chanel logo. How not to love?
Nope, contrary to popular belief (assuming there was one to begin with), both SW and I aren’t dead yet. 🙂 School’s been a bummer as usual and we haven’t had the mood nor time to visit WordPress for updates. And unfortunately, it’ll remain so because in a week or so, we’ll be facing the dreaded exams. 😦
But here’s a quick update on some gems I’ve found. I didn’t quite realise I found their cheaper alternatives around town. 🙂
Hokay, I’m a poor student so I can’t really afford this MJ baby. 😦 But SW alerted me to this tiny shop located in one of the Eastern heartland malls which sells tons of good quality inspired totes. I dropped by the place today and got this baby for about $50. A raw deal from the real deal, I must say. And it’s of superb quality and looks exactly like MJ’s. Haha. I can’t wait to use it! Ps: SW is head over heels in love with Hilary Duff and we suspect she owns more than one of these Hudsons!
That’s DVF’s Beach dress in chocolate zebra prints. SW and I bought the exact copy of this at our nearby mall! It was on 50% off from its usual price of about $65. We’re thinking of pairing a plain tee underneath this zebra babydoll. 🙂 We finally got ourselves a dress, SW!
And I got this Dorothy Perkins jumper tunic for only $23. Apparently Topshop sells it for the same price too. I layer it with a plain tee and pair it with black capris. There was one day when i wore it with cuffed jeans too, heh. I’m really into these kinda tops to hide the hideous amount of flabs I’ve been piling on lately. 😦
Forever 21’s etched floral bangle is so pretty but I got one at a local accessories store for half the price. 🙂 It’ll be great with my printed skirts or vintage tees.
And I was never a ring-girl before this but I’m loving how a simple accessory on the finger can brighten up an outfit. I hate wearing earrings or necklaces so I need something else. 😉 Anyway, I got this ring for again, half the price at F21. I got another ring, albeit a little pricier, from DP but alas, I can’t scour for the online picture. It’s basically very chunky, with one huge jade-like stone and two smaller stones in emerald and cream (or something).
And online, I purchased a light tan tote and a rimmel blusher which SW raves about. Will share about them once they arrive!
After such damage done to my wallet, I need to ‘punish’ myself with the piles of readings waiting for me. Till then, much love from SW and I. 😀
Besides their quilted flap bag which i always thought wasn’t soo nice till i keep seeing it around, Chanel has a superb fantabulous offering of bags. All not necessarily embossed with monograms yet so effortlessly tells you it is Chanel. So distinctive.
This is the closest bag i saw on the Chanel website to the one Heidi and Nicky own. But i lurrrve this bag. The straps, the chains, the size, the texture…Drools
Another superb one.
Love the logo up front.on this piece. And the signature chain like straps.
From last season’s collection. Probably few patent peices that I truly like.
Loves all 🙂
It seems that quilted boxy handbags are still the favourite among celebs. Spotted some Chanel ones too. 🙂 Shall start with the least favourite one of all.
I’m not so sure what bag Ashlee is carrying here. Very boxy and I don’t quite like the long straps.
Even Kate’s tiny wristlet bears the quilts. See what I mean?
And then Mischa was spotte carryingd similar flap quilt bags. Not so sure if they’re Marc Jacobs’ or Chanel’s. I don’t fancy the metallic silver one at all. Makes it look too space-y and cheap. The black, I don’t mind. 🙂
This lovely red flap blag is definitely Chanel. It’s very quirky vintage and not everyone can carry it off. Here, MK has personalised it by knotting a scarf on its chain straps.
Last and definitely SW and my favourites’ has gotta be the one Nicky is carrying. Heidi Montag from The Hills has the same one too. We love how it’s classy, roomy and very functional looking.
When will that first Chanel buy be….Hmm.
