I know Marc Jacobs’ bags are nowhere near the status of LV, Dior and Gucci over here but I can’t help but fall in love with some of his collections. I’m talking about his premier collection, not Marc by Marc Jacobs collection cos some from the latter can look really cheap. Enough talk, let’s ogle…

I’m loving this Striped Hudson bag. It gives a nice vintage vibe and would totally rock with a tee and jeans, even.

This Mischa is such a vintage cutie. Aptly named after The OC lass who is well known for her quirky style. And it’s quilted. Oh, how I love quilts on my bag.

This Karen Python Handle looks something like LV’s leopard-print one. I wonder who’s copying who. Anyways, I love the subtle python skin here and marbled-like chains and clasps.Β  Waddya call them?

And if there’s one thing I can perhaps start off with from his more affordable collection, it’s this monogrammed leather pouchette. I love the faded monos and brass hardware on the pockets.

And I think I figure why MJ bags are not a common sight here. They lack the monogrammes everyone are crazy about. πŸ˜‰

Some call it tights. Some call it leggings. Is the trend still in? Pair it with floaty tops in more cheerful prints or in brighter colours, perhaps? In any case, not all of us are blessed with slim thighs and calves. A superb alternative would be the fitting black capris that end mid-calf. LeggingsΒ  should be mid-calf too, unless you’re really tall and lanky. I’m still on a hunt for capris, btw. And I think leggings should only be in solid colours. Unless you’re gg for a costume party or are brave enough πŸ™‚

Here are great ones from Forever 21. I bet almost every other store is selling them too.

Btw this new semester in school, I’ve seen a number of girls with leggings. I hate it when it becomes a fad and everyone starts wearing it. Oh wells. Have yet to see the jumper…

Forever 21 loves bombarding us with clothes after clothes we like for the same period of time. Just spotted a couple more jumpers on the webbie after SB updated.

This striped jumper is cute. Complete with the yellow plastic buttons. Great with light coloured tees and skinnies/ tights. πŸ™‚

Loves this one loads. Just realised that its probably better to get jumpers in basic shades of black and grey. With these as a base, easier to layer on the inside. This will look fab with a white shirt and rolled up sleeves on the inside πŸ™‚

And for something bright and chirpy. Although i dont think its a versatile piece.

Cute candy coloured one from wetseal.

Been a while since i update on LV. Need to gush ’bout damier canvas!

I always thought the checked monogrammed looks a bit cheap. Until my sister started gushing about it. But when she finally bought the speedy. Decided its really nice. And at times, is probably chic-er than the monogrammed canvas. πŸ™‚

Plus point: Lining of the bag is a deep red, classy! And the handles are darker brown compared to the normal monogrammed canvas meaning easier to maintain.

Damier Duomo. My sis contemplated buying this. But it was a tad big and stiff. And since she was looking for something casual, speedy fits the bill. This would be great for more formal events πŸ™‚

I’ve seen so many people from locals to stars in Laguna Beach carrying this around or having it in their wardrobes. Haha. Its a small mini bag. Probably a makeup pouch which actually has a sling strap for you to carry out. Its affordable, only 400sgd. Might be a great bag for ‘raya’ events. Small and yet quite roomy. And cheap. πŸ™‚

I guess a true investment now would be to get a good polo. Had one from lacoste, and contemplating another from Polo Ralph. Doesn’t hurt to splurge on what i would call basics especially stuffs like polos lasts you throught seasons. Yet, can be even casual/ formal enough for various occassions. πŸ™‚

A classic fit by Polo Ralph. In aqua blue. Loving the summery blue hue. Perfect for spring, and of course, throughout the seasons too πŸ™‚

The skinny fit version. Smaller cutting of course which i prefer since fitted polos do look better, more chic. And this in classic kelly. Loves the subtle yet not faded green here. Please stay away from bright colours for some shades like orange, yellow, red. Makes them look cheap. And these shades are similar to free tees for school activities 😦

Eyeing the big pony polo. When i first saw it. Thought it was ridiculous, who would want a big pony spread on one of ur chest. Ha. But im a convert now. In fact, it looks extremely stylish. Pink and black, nice combi.

This is the ultimate drool worthy. Black with a gold polo. πŸ™‚ But the priciest out of the lot. Gah

On the prowl for basic coloured polos, if you noticed. And maybe i might just get another Lacoste in black or white if the polo dreams dont work out. πŸ™‚ Loves the material and fit. πŸ™‚
